Prerequisite Skill: Hide, light-pierce.

A single high damage strike from the shadows against unengaged enemies.

The Backstab skill enables characters to attempt a sneak attack from behind, delivering a single devastating strike with a light-pierce weapon such as a dagger or dirk. However, it cannot be used against opponents who are actively engaged in combat.

The chances of successfully landing a blow are drastically reduced if the backstabber is not hidden at the time of the attack. This skill rewards stealth and precision, making it a deadly tool in the hands of a skilled assassin.

Backstab makes use of the agility and dexterity attributes.
