Novice seafarers possess basic knowledge of maritime concepts, such as cardinal directions, basic navigation techniques using landmarks, and simple seamanship skills like tying knots and handling lines. They are able to contribute as crew members on a vessel under the guidance of more experienced sailors.

Masters of Seafaring are seasoned sailors with extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of maritime travel. Masters are capable leaders aboard ships, able to efficiently manage a crew and navigate through adverse weather conditions with confidence.

Seafaring is essential for characters embarking on seabound adventures, whether as explorers, traders, pirates, or naval officers. Mastery of this skill enables characters to navigate the high seas safely, explore distant lands, and overcome the challenges of the maritime environment with skill and expertise.
