In Onward Mud, each skill will grant access to knowledge crafts bound to that skill, also further defined by race and region of origin. Knowledge crafts branch will skill level. Masters of a craft will have access to knowledge that will be difficult and rare to come by.  Some knowledge crafts can also be exclusive to a character accrued through experience, or perhaps stumbled on in their life somewhere.


Is a mysterious beast plaguing the countryside? A skilled hunter from the region might have insight into what could be causing the devastation. Failing that, a foreigner with animal husbandry might have some insight.

Knowledge crafts are meant to be used as an roleplay tool and reflect a characters unique knowledge and experience in their field of focus. Though characters from the same race and region will most likely have similar knowledge, the higher a skill the higher the chance to roll an unique knowledge craft for that skill.
