Brewing is a skill that is useful to those in the employ of a barkeep, or running a tavern. Some farmers have their own recipes and supply to the larger cities.

Master brewers are capable of distilling, a process of purification, wherein fermented liquids are subjected to heat and condensation to separate the alcohol from impurities. Through careful control of temperature and pressure, distilling are able to extract the purest essence of their brews.

In addition to purification, distilling also serves as a means of enhancement, allowing brewers to imbue their spirits with unique flavors and aromas. By infusing the distillate with botanicals, herbs, or fruits during the distillation process, characters can create spirits with complex and nuanced profiles, elevating their creations to new heights of sophistication.
